The IBEW Local 197 Apprenticeship program provides individuals with the opportunity to build a lifelong career in the electrical trade while earning a paycheck from day one. Apprentices work alongside experienced union electricians on real jobsites, gaining hands-on experience while also completing structured classroom instruction. This combination of practical training and technical education ensures apprentices develop the skills needed to safely install, maintain, and troubleshoot modern electrical systems.
